Chief Marks has spent the last ten years working for The City of Langley Police Department and was appointed to be the Acting Chief of Police in August of 2013. In June of 2014 Chief Marks was appointed to be the permanent Chief of Police. Prior to working for the City of Langley Chief Marks worked for the Washington State Department of Corrections at McNeil Island Corrections Center. Chief Marks has a background in business and enjoys volunteering his time with local youth sports.

Officer Liggitt has been with the Langley Police Department for nine years. Officer Liggitt served in both the U.S. Marine Corps and the Army Reserves. Officer Liggitt has been awarded the Life Saving Medal for using a defibrillator to save the life of a heart attack patient.

Officer Donald Lauer comes to us from the Granite Falls Police Department where he served as an Officer, School Resource Officer, Detective and eventually the Interim Police Chief. Officer Lauer served in the U.S Air Force. Officer Lauer has over a decade of law enforcement experience.
Officer Mason Shoudy is a recent graduate of the Washington State Basic Law Enforcement Academy and is a lifelong resident of Whidbey Island.
Reserve Officer Laura Price was a longtime Langley Police Officer who is now assigned as the Chief of Detectives with the Island County Sheriff's Office.
Reserve Officer Shawn Warwick serves as a full time Deputy with the Island County Sheriff's Office. Officer Warwick has over 20 years of law enforcement experience.
Reserve Officer Leif Haugen spent 15 years as a full time Officer with the Langley Police Department before going to work for the Island County Sheriff's Office. Officer Haugen has over 25 years of law enforcement experience.
Reserve Officer Jeff Lee serves as a full time Fish and Game Officer with the State of Washington. Officer Lee has over 25 years of law enforcement experience.
